Shut your cat in one empty, quiet room (litter, water, bed, favourite items) with a sign on the door, so open doors and movers can't let them bolt. Transport in a secure carrier, never loose in the car.

Set up one 'base camp' room first with their own scented items; let them explore the rest gradually over days once calm.

Update your microchip registry AND the collar ID tag with the new address and phone — a chip only helps if its record is current.
